Assisting your Mentee with Planning

The Lesson Protocol, Mastery Objectives, Closure, pacing, all of these can be overwhelming for a new educator.  This module is designed to get you thinking of how your mentee approaches planning and what you can do to help them.

Reflection:

After you watch the video please write up a one-page reflection (12 point font, double spaced) and submit it below.  The reflection should cover the following questions:

  • What questions can you ask yourself as you plan to cover all the bases?
  • What routine do you use to reflect on each lesson?
  • What advice would you give Ms. Rubinetti to improve her pacing?
