Reflection:

  • What are some ways that you can take care of yourself as a new teacher or as a mentor.
  • List some signs and symptoms of teacher burnout:
  • Do you recognize any of these signs and symptoms in yourself or your mentor/mentee?  If so, how can you address them with that person?
  • What are some ways to deal with the stress that accompanies teaching?
  • Identify your top five ways to deal with stress that work for you.
